ProxySite keeps the smallest set of data that runs your account. This page lists what we store, why, and for how long.
What we store
Account: a hash of your access token, an encrypted copy used only to name the account in our internal payment alerts, the account code, credit balance, creation date, and the IP address, device type and language seen at sign up.
Plans: the plans you bought, their logins, traffic used and end dates.
Payments: amounts, coins, networks, references and status, kept for accounting.
What we leave out
We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or a password. We do not store the content of pages you load through the proxies.
Why we store it
To run your account and plans, to confirm payments, to keep limits fair, and to answer legal requests we are required to answer.
Cookies
One sign in cookie, one cookie for your language choice, one first visit source cookie and a 30 second cookie that links a payment to the plan you chose. No advertising cookies.
How long we keep it
Account and payment records stay while the account exists and as long as accounting rules require afterwards. Closed accounts are anonymized.
Your choices
You can stop using the service at any time. An account with zero credit and no active plans can be anonymized on request.
